Josh Teis on IFB Separation - James33 - 12-13-2017

Interesting post: http://joshteis.com/2017/12/11/six-degrees-of-separation/

getting a lot of praise and criticism from both sides.

Interesting. I grew up in the church in Detroit that was pastored by Vick and Norris. Vick was revered there... if Baptists made people into saints, he surely would have been sainted. Norris was discussed only in husedn tones.

I think separation has more to do with control than anything. Especially when considering the the straining at gnats and swallowing camels that goes on among those who pride themselves in being separated.

Fundamentalists conveniently forget that the highest priority of the Christian is charity. Making it about separation is just their way of making it about themselves.
